I was learning to add detail to my ideas.I can write more than one idea related to the topic.It was easy because I know lots of things about ice cream.

EPS Values

I was learning to describe what each EPS values mean. I can describe respect resilience and responsibility means. It was tricky because cause I didn't know which value some of the actions belonged to.

Persuasive Writing

I was learning to write persuasive piece of writing l can give reasons why I agree or disagree with a topic It was tricky because i didn't know what to write

Art Exhibition

I like the colour of the kiwi. I learn't that kiwis come from New Zealand culture . Some times I get mixed up with the kiwi fruit. It was tricky to trace the kiwi. I like when we dyed the kiwi because it was fun.

Maths Week

Poem Recitation

I was learning  to present a poem in front of an audience. I can project my voice so everyone can hear me. I can remember my poem of by heart. I can speak in a clear voice so everyone can hear me. I felt scared while saying my poem to the class because I felt like I was gonna make a mistake 

Narrative writing

I was learning to write a narrative piece of writing. I can talk about the setting the characters and the plot. It was easy because the pictures gave me clues about what to write about

Volcanoes

I was learning to compare and contract different volcanoes. I can talk about the shape of volcanoes.I can describe what it looks like. I can talk about the lava flow the eruption It was easy because we learnt about volcanoes on the trip.

Telling The Time

I was learning to read o clock times and half past times on an anolog clock.I can read o clock on an along o clock.I can read half past on an analog clock.It was tricky because in the real clock it is hard to say.

Instructions

I was learning to write instructions. I can use a variety of verbs in my instructions. I can put my instructions in the right order. It was hard because I didn't now what to write.

Division

I was learning to understand division by equal sharing. I can share object equally into groups. It was easy because we have been practising.

School Then and Now

I was learning to compare and contrast what school were like in the past to what they are like now

Now I know It was easy because our trip to Howick Historical village helped us know what school were like in the past.

I was learning to identify Reo maori words for our feeling.
